We are sooo excited to share our latest collaboration- this past summer we teamed up with Community Collection to create two exclusive Luv Aj accessories, based on some of your favorite styles- the Pyramid Stud Bracelet and the Perforated Leather turban. Community Collection is an organization that combines fashion with philanthropy, working with designers and artists to create exclusive pieces that they sell for a limited time, donating a portion of the proceeds to the designer’s charity of choice. In this case, I picked Freed by Design, which is run by my long time friend (and my little brother’s 1st grade teacher!) Lindsay Hoogendam.  She and her husband work with at-risk woman (and those formerly sex trafficked) and teach them how to make  jewelry and help them have a discernible skill that will keep them off the streets and never have to face the possibility of being trafficked again. Their charity is close to my heart and I love how they are using the art of making jewelry to better these girl’s lives. Please make sure to check out the pieces and support the cause!
