As I was doing my weekly blog rounds today, I was tickled pink to see a Luv Aj shout out on 4th and Bleeker‘s blog post for Harper’s Bazaar. They couldn’t ID her vintage earrings, so they suggested Luv Aj as an alternative! HELL YES. I’m pretty sure they are referring to the Ball Chain Hoops earrings (available at Endless.com), which have that similar J.Lo- meets- Soho feeling. Who doesn’t love a Chola hoop earring? And who doesn’t love a 4th and Bleeker shout-out? I mean it’s all good here.

The Luv Aj Mixtape Volume 2 is here kids! And just in time for everyones long car rides, plane rides, bus rides back home for Turkey Day. This mix has got a many-a-different-jam on it… it’s definitely the most eclectic by far. I’ve got some old songs on here, so don’t be mad at that. There’s nothing wrong with some Wiz Khalifa circa 2010!

I’m loving Iggy Azalea, she’s a white rapper from Australia and she’s beautiful and bad ass. I was also pleased to find a leaked song from Yelawolf’s (aka my future husband) new album, and was even more surprised that Fefe Dobson was on the track (blast from the past, anyone? anyone?!) Other tracks of note are Theophilus London’s cover of Tweet’s “Oops (Oh My)” that has a really great vibe and of course my favorite dubstep track this year, All Night (Skream Remix). It’s intense to say the least, but it has actually been proven to make you stay on the treadmill longer when listening to it.

Just wanted to say a quick thank you to DJ Hotsauce, Jessica Currie, Christian Lee, and Ian Broucek for their help with this. Without you guys, there would be like 2 tracks on this thing.
