BEHIND THE SCENES
So I recently had the pleasure of getting to shoot with my homey/ah-mazing photographer Mark Leibowitz. I can guarantee you’ve seen his work, probably in Glamour and many other fashion publications. He shoots a lot of stills at all of the runway shows (and I really mean all of them). His backstage shots at Lanvin are magical, definitely worth checking out.
Mark came on a little field trip with me to my manufacturer’s and plater’s warehouse and took some behind the scenes shots of everyone doing their thing. All of the casting and soldering for Luv Aj happens in a little attic in Boyle Heights, so it was really cool to have Mark come in and capture atmosphere. He also followed me to my studio and took a few snaps of me there too. I tried to let out my inner Gisele, but I’m not sure how it fared. I think I’ll stick to jewelry making…
